A NEW MAJESTIC GOODIE!! I haven’t gotten around to posting one lately but i’m super excited over this one. “The Wilhem Scream” was practically one of the best songs of 2011 off James Blakes incredible self-titled album. The original is quite frankly, depressing but Poindexter adds some synths and incredible funk to it you cant help but enjoy. Go ahead, Vibe out.

Jojo is CRIMINALLY Underrated, there’s no denying this girls talent and voice. Its been a while since we’ve gotten a cohesive body of work from her which is why im extremly excited to dive into this. From the songs shes put out; “Demonstrate”, “We Get by” she has surely proven that shes found her footing as a women and as an artist who isnt afraid  to be herself. Stream and download the 13 track album in its entirety after the jump.

Aaliyahs’ “If  Your Girl Only Knew” song has always been one of my favorites from the R&B pincess. London based producer Tourist chops up her vocals and weaves them into a simple flawless production like ive never heard. Nothing but smooth vibes thoughout on this one.

So Super Sam is a prominent DJ in the NYC-LA area and also Childish Gambinos’ Personal DJ. She recently linked up with Status Magazine to complie a mix entitled Black Magic. This one has a little bit of everything for everyone, Not one solid genre, If you have an hour to kill, throw this on and vibe out, i guarantee it will end up on repeat.

WHOSE IDEA WAS IT TO TAKE A BARY MANILOW SONG AND MAKE A TRAP TUNE TO IT!!!! Yes, you read that right..Barry Manilow and trap in the same sentence. Im sure die hard Barry fans are cringing at the site of this, but its actually extremley intersting and well, GOOD. I dont know much about Diamond Dave or Shock To the System but their work on this is dope. I’ll let the music speak for itself, listen below.

If youre a fan of the Twilight saga or even saw the most recent ending to the saga, you cannot deny the amazing music in the film and placement. Alexandra Patsavas has done an incredible job with choosing songs and placing them at the right moment. One song that stuck out the most to me was Chistina Perris “A Thousand Years pt.2” Without giving too much of the movie away, its the closing song as they take a look back on the Saga. Even if youre not a diehard fan of the movies it makes you feel SOME type of emotion towards the movie and Edward & Bella. Exactly what music and a Great Supervisor is supposed to do. Take a listen below.
